Juniors

From in2cricket and T20 Blast players then move into the U9 and U10 competitions, which run on Saturday mornings, and are both modified version of the game. Players wearing full cricket gear bat for a set number of overs, with any wickets deducted from the team’s score. The ball used is plastic, and everyone bowls. This format is an excellent introduction to ‘real’ cricket. Season will start early October 2015.

Other Juniors teams are fielded in age groups including U12, U14 and U16. Junior Cricket is played on Saturday mornings, generally starting at 8:30am and finishing at about 12:30. All teams from the Under 10s and above use leather balls, pads, helmets and all the equipment similar to seniors.

Junior Boys U12, U14 and U16s season will start mid September 2015.
