Club History

SHCC  began in 1991 when a group of parents from the Summer Hill Public School Parents and Citizens Association decided to form a cricket team to enable their children to play a summer team sport. From the beginning these parents sought to promote a sense of community and emphasised the philosophy of participation.

SHCC has been the largest junior cricket club playing in the Canterbury and Western Suburbs Cricket Association’s junior competition for some years.

In 2021-22, the club celebrated entering its 30th season with over 300 players in juniors, seniors and girls cricket.
