It’s Grand Final Weekend, and we’ve got 2 teams through to the last week of the season. We knew Div 4 were there, but Div 2 made us sweat with a hard fought Preliminary Final win. Well done to Div 2 Captain Raf and his team to qualify for the GF from 3 rd place. SHCC Scoop - Finals around the Corner, Presentation Night May 1st
It’s been a slow start to cricket in 2026, with just 1 days play in January with matches cancelled due to heat or rain. The good news is that we’ve had some cricket in February, and some intra club games on the long weekend too. Div 1, Div 2, 4 and 7 have a single one day match to go before finals start, with Div 5 and 6 a 2 day match to complete, then a 1 dayer before Finals start, and our Div 4 Morning team complete a 1 day match this Saturday to finish their season. SHCC Scoop - Thunderbolts & Lightning, Claire Polosak & Umpiring…
You know summer is not far away when ominous clouds in the distance get even darker and the lightning starts cracking! All of our teams with 2 day matches were fortunate to finish their matches – some results positive, some negative. Sadly, our Div 5 and Div 6 teams who had 1 day matches were not so lucky, with Div 5 on their way to a win against an undermanned Newtown, and Div 6 evenly poised against Summer Hill Seniors. Both matches ended in a draw. Read on for more deta
