Our Seniors Awards Night was a wonderful way to Celebrate the Season - and with guest Speaker, Claire Polosak, it was a fabulous night.
Claire regaled us with her road to becoming an umpire, and some great moments on and off the field, before taking questions from the floor. We were very lucky for Claire to be so generous with her time, and happy to share some wonderful insights to International Cricket.
There were plenty of milestones achieved during the season - read on a for a full list of players who ticked over milestones.
Thank you to all players, and especially to each team Captain - your effort each week is appreciated by your team, and the Club.

Daniel Wright Trophy
Our big Award of the night is the Daniel Wright Trophy, recognising the best Senior player at SHCC each season. Dan was a terrific cricketer for SHCC, who sadly passed away suddenly, much too early.
The winner for 2024/25 is Khurram Mahmood. Khurram has been a wonderful servant of the Club, and took on additional role this year as Captain of our newest team in the Sydney Morning Cricket Association, along with being a key member of our Division 1 team.

Glenn Holdstock Player of the Finals Series
We had 3 teams playing Finals this year, but we didn’t enjoy much success. There was a clear winner of the Glenn Holdstock Player of the Finals Series, with our Division 2 Captain Jay Karim leading a batting fightback with a well made 82 not out in their Qualifying Final.
