Presentation Night was again a wonderful way to Celebrate the Season just gone - and we had plenty to celebrate with a Premiership, Runners Up and SHCC were once again awarded the C&WSCA Club Championship.
Unfortunately our guest speaker, Harjas Singh, was unable to join us, but with so much to celebrate, we didn't let that dampen the mood.

Each team celebrated their top players, and it was great to hear from Premiership winning Captain Dan Jeffrey about their season, and thrilling Grand Final win.
There were plenty of milestones achieved during the season - read on a for a full list of players who ticked over milestones.
Thank you to Club sponsor, Miss Celie's Jazz and Blues Bar in Ashfield for providing a $50 Food and Drink Voucher for our "Heads and Tails" Winner, Don Stewart, and our 2 Major Award Winners - read on below.

Thank you to all players, umpires, scorers and especially to each team Captain - your effort each week is appreciated by your team, and the Club - and a big thank you to Leo Tarbox who took some great pictures on the night.
Hope to see all you back next Season!

Daniel Wright Trophy
Our big Award of the night is the Daniel Wright Trophy, recognising the best Senior player at SHCC each season. Dan was a terrific cricketer for SHCC, who sadly passed away suddenly, much too early.
The winner for 2025/26 is Hamza Malik. Hamza had a wonderful season in Division 6, scoring runs and taking wickets and was a clear winner of this years award. Well done Hamza!

Glenn Holdstock Player of the Finals
We had 3 teams playing Finals this year, with Div 4 Premiers, Div 2 Runners up and Div 6 Minor Premiers but bowing out in the Preliminary Final. This years award was hotly contested, with Glenn considering a couple of performances from Div 4's Grand Final win. Defending a smallish 1st Innings total of 132 it was Tom Dawson's blistering opening spell which set up SHCC for the remainder of the match.
The Glenn Holdstock Player of the Finals, winner is Tom Dawson, with match figures of 6/16 from 13 overs, with 6 maidens.
